ABOUT
“We often wait for that knock of opportunity, though I've found it's better to just grab a chainsaw and cut open your own f--king door.”
― Don Roff
"If you had the inclination, and the nerve, to walk over to the gazebo, you would have the rare opportunity to witness Hunter Sutton who spent the entire day carving a miraculous wooden sculpture specifically inspired by and for the All Souls Vista, by use of a chainsaw no less – seriously, this was a sight to see!"
― Brian Robertson, The Vista Press
Meet The Artist
Hunter Sutton
Chainsaw Carver,Illustrator, Artist
'That Chainsaw Chick'
Hunter, like many artists, has been drawing for as long as she can remember. Starting with subjects she'd see in her day to day life such as animals, people, and nature; she quickly delved into the mythological and unnatural with her fixation of Folklore, Monsters, and all things Fantasy. She began Chainsaw Carving at the age of 15, having grown up around her family's tree service and always having the inspiration to turn the unwanted logs into something more. She enjoys the challenges of working with difficult material and dangerous tools. She hopes to inspire others, especially women, to try Chainsaw Carving.
